We had a very very good stay and can just recommend this hotel to friends. Everything was perfect, including friendly staff and lovely location in the forest.

It offers stunning location not far from a beautiful river as well as the bus station. Spotless and stocked rooms come with forest view, futon beds, a terrace. The staff is helpful, as well as host.

Overall it is a wonderful hotel and we loved the stay, the location was stunning near the train station. The stuff is helpful, and the owner too. Delicious and wonderful breakfast with big portion, thanks a lot.

The room we got, a twin room, was brand-new. The location was stunning and marvellous for traveling around Nikko, right by the host's generous offers of transport including pick up, the Tosho-gu sanctuary, the imperial villa, and the Chuzen-ji lake and Shrines.

Booked a room with beautiful views of the nature. The location was amazing in a calm environment and the staff here was great. Besides, we were short walk to Nikko station, Ryuzu falls, and gorgeous nature.

Amazing host who goes the extra mile, pick-up and drop-off service, delicious breakfast, beautiful room with traditional decor and balcony overlooking a serene stream, highly recommended for a quiet and authentic Japanese getaway. Free Wi-Fi, free parking, luggage storage, flat-screen TV, electric kettle. Mind-blowing stay!

The value for money at B&B Izumi was exceptional, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The location was serene, with a beautiful balcony overlooking a river. The host, Izumi, went above and beyond to provide a warm and helpful experience.

The breakfast experience could have been enhanced by offering more variety.

The location is stunning and wonderful and they have parking on-site. The staff are friendly, answered every question I had.

We had a wonderful experience at B&B Izumi. The host, Izumi, was incredibly generous, picking us up from the station and even taking us to the shrine the next day. The Japanese-style room was beautifully laid out, and despite our preference for a higher bed, we slept soundly with the calming sound of the nearby babbling stream. The breakfasts were substantial and delicious, offering both Japanese and American options. Izumi's hospitality and charm made our stay truly enjoyable.

The offered breakfast was delicious with big portion. The room was well-stocked with balconies on a stream and the staff was GREAT. Location: the hotel was next to a river and the forest as well as the famous bridge and the temples.

We had a romantic escape and there were a couple of things that we really liked about the hotel. the room was clean and well-maintained, making it a comfortable and cozy environment for us to relax in. the hotel was conveniently located near popular attractions, allowing us to easily explore the surrounding area. Lastly, the staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout our stay.

Although we had a generally pleasant experience at the hotel, there were a couple of aspects that we disliked. the breakfast options were quite limited and didn't cater to all dietary preferences.
